Question 1

What does Rookrace check?

Accepted Answer

Rookrace reads selected public competitor product pages for price and stock information. You add the pages you want to follow and manually start a check for a selected page; checks are not started on a recurring schedule.

Question 2

What is saved in my check history?

Accepted Answer

Each check attempt is saved with its time, product page details, readable price and stock values, any readable changes from the previous result, and its status. If the page cannot be read or a value is missing or ambiguous, that field stays unknown instead of being treated as a change.

Question 3

Are saved results screenshots of competitor product pages?

Accepted Answer

No. The saved visual evidence is an SVG summary generated from the check result, including details such as the page title, URL, check time, detected price and stock, and readable changes. It is not a screenshot of the competitor product page and does not show the page’s full appearance.

Question 4

What do change alerts tell me?

Accepted Answer

When a manual check records a readable price or stock change from the previous saved result, Rookrace adds that change to your in-app alerts and attempts to email you a summary. Email delivery is best-effort. Alerts come from checks you start; they do not mean Rookrace is checking pages in the background.

Question 5

What are daily actions?

Accepted Answer

The daily action list turns readable changes from saved manual checks into suggestions to review, such as looking at a price change or considering whether a promotion makes sense. Suggestions are advisory: Rookrace does not change prices or promotions for you. “Daily” names the list; it does not mean checks run automatically each day.

Question 6

What if a product page or value cannot be read?

Accepted Answer

A page that cannot be read is saved with an unavailable status. A missing, ambiguous or unreadable price or stock value stays unknown, and Rookrace does not claim a change for that field. A readable change in the other field can still be recorded on its own.

Question 7

Is recurring monitoring available?

Accepted Answer

No. Recurring or scheduled monitoring is not currently available. You need to start each price-and-stock check yourself for a selected competitor product page.

Question 8

Can I buy a paid plan or check out?

Accepted Answer

No. Paid plans and paid checkout are not currently available in Rookrace. The beta is available to try without a paid checkout.
